He Fortifies the Feeble Heart

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.”
Psalm 4:1 KJV
For such a time as this you may find yourself in a desert, where the craving for water is much more desirable. Brethren, don’t lose heart.
We must continue to remind ourselves of the biblical truths that may feel so distant in our sufferings, but are even closer than we can fathom. Our immediate comprehension to our agonies is the five senses, and because of this we forget too easily the abundance of His grace and the precious promises of His heart. It’s not a matter of perfection on our behalf in the furnace, but dependability; and it’s true in all of life. So, find not your assurance in another day, for another day has no security. Find it not in the next hour for the next hour you may not live to see, but be present with Jesus. Allow suffering to have a greater, more prominent work in your life. Like Joseph who seems to be a rejected Jew, his story shows the
remarkable work of the Lord involved and intimately present.
The practical odds did not favor the young man who was deemed exiled by those loved, but the Divine was.
Joseph would come to realize that all the things that he walked through were allowed by God to fulfill what God had planned. Remember faith is tested and valuable in times of adversity.
Be still
Be prayerful
& be engaged in His Word
…there is purpose in it and there is purpose as he carries you through it.
